We have been eagerly awaiting the visit from my mom and aunt for months. They came on the 19th of June and stayed for a week. We packed in about as much as you can in a weeks time.

We let them take it easy the first evening by driving around our town. We showed them how far our village is to Madrid as you can see in this picture.

We then showed them the aqueducts and made my mom cross one. My aunt Merralee was off the hook since she had a broken foot.
The next morning they rode a bus to Madrid and walked around the older area while our kids were in school. After the kids got out we met up with them in Madrid. By the end of the day they had over 25000 steps on my mom´s pedometer.
